Shaper Origin is a precision handheld smart router for woodworking. It locates itself in a workspace and makes continuous real-time adjustments while the user is cutting. Like auto-correct for your hands.

I worked with Shaper to form the user experience, interaction designs, and Shaper Hub – a website for users to browse and download custom designs. A few special considerations for the embedded system were its custom touchscreen, physical buttons, and multimodal workflows.
